Wisconsin Arts Board visits Eau Claire, Sept. 2011

Thursday through Saturday, September 15-17, 2011, the members of the Wisconsin Arts Board – comprised of 15 leaders from all around the state in the industries of business, arts/music/theater, economic development, education, and politics – toured a number of organizations and facilities in Eau Claire, and held a quarterly meeting. Among them was former Lt. Governor (for 8 years) Barbara Lawton. There were tours, lunches, dinners, receptions, and more. The Arts Board is a state agency working to cultivate creativity around the state in the arts, education, and economic development.
