Boo. There – are you feeling the heebie jeebies now? Good. Because this is the perfect time of year to talk about’s spookiest blog: Bizarre History of the Chippewa Valley. Every week, local paranormal investigator Chad Lewis selects an old (and weird) news story from that week in local history, gives you the text, and provides commentary. As Chad says …

“As you look around the Chippewa Valley you can still catch a glimpse of what life must have been like living here over 100 years ago. However many stories of sea serpents, ghosts, bizarre deaths, strange creatures, and even strange people here in the Chippewa Valley remain hidden. But you do not need to spend hours searching through the old archives to find these strange stories – I've done it for you!”

Chad and his partner Terry Fisk run Unexplained Research, and besides their paranormal investigations, they’ve produced a bunch of fun books like Wisconsin Road Guide to Haunted Locations and Hidden Headlines of Wisconsin. Check out the blog!
