It is hard to believe the holidays are over and the much-needed long breaks associated with the first semester are done and over with. But don’t fret! There are a few breaks built into each public school district’s schedule to help divide the monotony of the long winter months. Plus, spring break is right around the corner, so be sure to check the dates below and start planning for that island in the sun. Please note: some districts’ mid-winter and spring breaks vary due to in-service days, so be sure to check the district calendar for specific details.

Eau Claire School District

Jan. 23 – No school for all students • Jan. 24 – No school for high school students (elementary and middle school students in session) • Feb. 23 – No school for elementary and middle school students (high school students in session) • Feb. 24 through 27 – Mid-winter Break for all students • March 20 through 24 – Spring Break

Chippewa Falls School District

Jan. 20 – No school for all students • Feb. 17 through 20 – Mid-winter break for all students • March 20 through 24 – Spring Break

Altoona School District

Feb. 10 – No school for all students • Feb. 24 – No school for all students • March 13 through 17 – Spring Break for all students

Menomonie School District

Jan. 16 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day (no school for all students) • Feb. 24 – No school for all students • March 13 through 17 – Spring Break

Elk Mound School District
