December will enjoy a special three-part installment of Volume One's new Thursday night story-telling series – Let's Be Honest – where some of the area's best writers and yarn-spinners take to the mic for night of personal stories told live. Each night has multiple storytellers musing on a common theme.

DEC. 5, 7pm - The Weather Outside: Stories of snow, sleet, and other winter perils

DEC. 12, 7pm - Thinking On Your Feet: Stories of quick thinking and impulse decisions for better or for worse (part of the Eau Claire Improv Festival) 

DEC. 19, 7pm - Holiday Heroics: Stories of yuletide successes and holly jolly failures
