Eau Claire wine and spirit maker Infinity Beverages is teaming up with Sand Creek Brewery of Black River Falls to produce a match made in boozy heaven. Dubbed "Beeriskey," the drink is "distilled from full bodied craft beer to produce a one-of-a-kind spirit." The team is looking to raise $6,500 through a Kickstarter campaign to produce and distill an initial batch of Beeriskey based on Sand Creek's Oscar's Chocolate Oatmeal Stout. Eventually, they'd like to find enough funding to produce three varieties.

Infinity Beverages entered the "craft distillery" world this past year with lines of both vodka and brandy. They say the biggest challenge with their initial run of Beeriskey will be getting enough beer from Sand Creek as soon as possible so the new concoction can be produced and into the aging process.
