Wine and Whimsy workshop mixes paint and vino

The Eau Claire Regional Arts Council is holding the first ever “paint and wine night.” Wine and Whimsy is a two-hour art workshop that – for $35 dollars – provides you with not only a paint brush but a glass of wine. And snacks. According to organizer Jamie Kane, “This style of social event pairs well with wine since it is more refined than going to a bar and less intimidating than a formal art class. It also provides new avenues for team building, a relaxing night out,  or even a bachelorette party.” This event is open to the public and the first event will be held March 14 from 6-8pm. Upcoming dates can be found at EauClaireArts.com. The two-hour sessions are open to a maximum of 12 guests and reservations may be placed by phone at 715-832-2787,  at the website mentioned above,  or right at The Eau Claire Regional Arts Center located at 316 Eau Claire St. in downtown Eau Claire (duh). If you are interested in art and love a good glass of wine,  this is obviously the perfect workshop for you. Feel free to take the painting home at the end of the night as a souvenir.
