Baby you're a firework, just own the night at Carson Park

As you may have expected, high above Carson Park tomorrow night, you'll find the red glare of rockets – and various other colors – accompanied by the usual booms, bangs, and fzzzzzzzzzzzzz's. The annual fireworks display is at 10pm.

Due to safety concerns, personal fireworks will not be allowed in the park.

You'll also find pre-BOOM activities – the Paul Bunyan Camp is open 10am through 4:30pm, train rides at the Carson Park Depot will be from noon to 5pm, and the Eau Claire Express will take on the Lakeshore Chinooks at 6:05pm.

If you don’t want to brave crowds in Carson Park, but would still like to see the whiz-bangery, there are more places to go. Other good viewing areas include Phoenix Park, Half Moon Lake, and Lakeview Cemetery.

Altoona fireworks will be exploding at Cinder City Park beginning at dusk.

You can find more Chippewa Valley Fourth of July events right here, and on the City of Eau Claire's website.
