Wednesday’s High Speed Rail open house in Eau Claire is absolutely crucial to future of train travel in Wisconsin. I’m not sure how else to say it.

Wisconsin DOT officials will actually be at this open house event, and state officials have said that they think the success or failure of these hearings could make or break the High Speed Rail project. Their feeling is that if tons of supporters turn out for these hearings, or at least many more supporters than opponents, then it’ll make a very meaningful and persuasive statement to Governor-Elect Walker.
