Found Footage Festival to Return ... and Rock You

Mike Paulus |

Hey, for the third time, Volume One is bringing the Found Footage Festival to the Cameo Budget in downtown Eau Claire. If you’ve never been … well, it’s just awesome. The FFF is a touring showcase of odd and hilarious found videos, shown on big screens, with snarky, live commentary from the festival’s curators – Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher. Pickett and Prueher, both UWEC alums, will be presenting two shows Sunday, Oct. 26 at 7pm and 9pm. The shows feature a new line up of videos.

The videos are found at garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and dumpsters throughout the country. Watch a bunch now! Some of the new clips to be featured in the 2008 show:

  • • 17 workplace sexual harassment videos, edited down to three minutes of just the best reenactments
  • • A brand-new collection of exercise videos featuring Playgirl’s 1985 Man of the Year, and a scantily-clad Angela Lansbury
  • • Video contributions by Chris Elliott and David Cross
  • • An instructional video on how to toilet train cats

The festival has earned acclaim across this great country of ours. So get ready – you can by tickets at the Cameo.
