Martin Luther King Day of Service

An AmeriCorps program, ECLIPSE, at the University organizes a group of volunteers every year to go out in the community and volunteer at a variety of non-profit organizations. This is done on MLK day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his efforts and successes.

Martin Luther King Jr. Remembrance Event

This annual event marking Martin Luther King Jr. Day will include readings from several of King's works, music and multimedia presentations of the history of the civil rights movement. Area K-12 and college students and faculty as well as local music ensembles will present and perform.
