Swan Lake Ballet Studio - Fall Kids Classes

Spring 9-week ballet lesson series. Learn diversity through dance, study classical ballet vocabulary, build up strong body, and experience creativity in dance. Students learn classical ballet choreography and perform at various venues such as Mabel Tainter, Summer Festival, Fall International Festival, and the UWEC Davies Center. Screening of the documentary Milwaukee 53206: A Community Serves Time

This hour-long, just-released video shows the infrastructure decay in this Milwaukee zip code area that has the highest incarceration rate of any in the nation. Residents of that area and other panelists will lead a discussion about the problems and riots that erupted in August, 2016 in Milwaukee, the 2nd most segregated city in the US.
