Weekly Bird Banding

Beaver Creek Reserve Bird Banders have been banding birds for 20+ years. Visit with the Bird Banders during their weekly banding sessions. Watch and learn how and why they band birds. Learn about bird identification, how birds are caught and banded, and meet some birds up close.

Homeschool Meet & Greet

Homeschool families are cordially invited to "Meet and Greet" other homeschoolers. Light refreshments will be served while introductions are made. Group will have the opportunity to discuss monthly meetings at the library and learn about resources available to their families.

Texas Tech professor Dr. Katharine Hayhoe is a prolific publisher, speaker and expert in the areas of climate change and the environment. She also happens to be an Evangelical Christian, dispelling the notion that these states are mutually exclusive.
