Kim Vaughter is a painter and fabric artist living in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She enjoys colorful things, children, and red lipstick.

Rug Hooking Guild

The Tree City Guild Rug Hook Crafters meet weekly on Tuesdays at the Chippewa Valley Museum. Rug hook crafters use a cutter to prepare strips of material, mainly wool, which are then hooked to monk's cloth set on a frame. The Tree City Guild welcomes new members.

Former UWEC botany professor Dr. Marcus Fay left behind a vast collection of slides based on field research. Artist and former biology student Sara Lubinski has created a visual tribute to the professor's work based on Dr. Fay's slides.
