L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library Grand Reopening Week

After years of planning, fundraising, and construction, the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library has reopened at 400 Eau Claire Street in downtown Eau Claire. Customers may finally visit the library to see the newly renovated and expanded space. To celebrate its homecoming, library staff is planning a number of important events and fun activities for the library’s Grand Reopening Week, running Monday, Sept. 26 through Saturday, Oct. 1.

Public Planetarium Show

Enjoy an engaging and educational presentation under the stars in the L.E. Phillips Planetarium at UWEC. Admission is paid in cash at the door, and the show starts promptly at 7:00 PM. Doors open 15 minutes before the show, which lasts roughly 45 minutes, with plenty of time for questions. The show is appropriate for older children and adults.
