Events Calendar

Dr. Peter Marra, renowned bird conservation expert, acclaimed ornithologist, Dean of the Earth Commons at Georgetown University, and Emeritus Sr Scientist of the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center, will share his research on the various threats to and population decline of birds in North America and explore practical, science-based solutions. A panel discussion will follow on the impact of free-roaming cats on wild bird populations. The Sierra Club, the Chippewa Valley Biodiversity Partnership, and several other organizations are sponsoring this event.
