The Sounds Like Summer Concert Series is Volume One's Thursday night gig in downtown Eau Claire's Phoenix Park. Local bands play to crowds each night on the banks of the Chippewa River in June, July, and August. Multiple food vendors will have food for sale. Pets are allowed at the concert.
6:00 pm - Andy Hanson
The music Andy is inspired to write walks a fine line between melancholy and empathy, all the while emphasizing fierce originality.
6:30 pm - The Foxfire Affair
These multi-instrumentalists entertain with a guitar, mandolin, concertina, and other instruments to complement their varied musical selections.
7:30 pm - Cathy Reitz & 7Swing
Founded by musical duo Cathy and Jeff Reitz. Both come from a deep-rooted musical background. For over fifty years Cathy has been a music educator and performer in Wisconsin. Jeff has been playing instruments and performing since the beginning of time.
