Air Quality and Sand Frac Mining in Western Wisconsin

The air we breathe keeps us healthy and active, but wildfires, car and industrial emissions, and even frac sand mining affect air quality. A research team from UW- Eau Claire has installed a network of “PurpleAir” monitors in west-central Wisconsin and will share results on how wildfires and frac sand mining impact our air.
