Qigong Classes at L.E. Phillips Senior Center

"Qi" or "Chi" means energy or life force. Gong means cultivation/practice, with purpose and intent. Qigong is a 5,000-year-old practice, which implements gentle movement, breath and mind focus. An increasing number of recent studies have shown that Qigong enhances many different aspects of systemic body health, longevity and body balancing. There are thousands of different kinds of Qigong. Sandra has studied under more than one teacher, but her current favorite is a form of medical Qigong, called "Zang Fu Gong", or 5-Element Organ Cleansing Qigong. Here is a demo of Sandra's teachers doing a 10 minute version of the 5-Element Organ Cleansing Qigong form: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q8AHmMaTi0 To read more about Qigong, visit the National Qigong Association website's general info page about Qigong: https://www.nqa.org/what-is-qigong-
