Vintage Toys and Games: Project Kit + Live Virtual Program
Discover how children, both rich and poor, played 125 years ago during a virtual Zoom session with Museum Educator Karen Jacobson and Retired ECASD teacher Rebecca Mattson including the following: 1. Marble Mazes with students making their own homemade "Nerve Testers" 2. String Games & Speed Jumping with students creating replica cup-n-ball toys, buzz saws, cat's cradle designs, and jump ropes 3. Dice Games & Bowling with students receiving their own set of dice and mini six pins set All participants receive a take home project kit prior to either session. Pick up times for kits will be Mondays from 3:00-5:00 pm or Tuesdays from 3-8 pm. Register on the museum's website. Registration closes one week prior to session date. Session login information will be included with kits at pick-up and will be emailed the Monday before the event.
