Social Entrepreneurship Workshop Presented by the Red Letter Grant

Social entrepreneurs utilize their businesses as vehicles for change - be that making an impact on environmental, political or social issues. Not to be confused with a nonprofit, social entrepreneurs use business principles to solve problems while still making a profit. Learn from Aaron Brice founder of Ambient Inks and his partnership with allmade in Haiti that creates shirts made from plastic bottles + providing living wage jobs. Kyle Frenette founder of Middle West Management, US Congressional candidate and long-time manager of Bon Iver will share the intent behind 2Abillion and the way in which he structured his management business to best serve artists and bolster young managers. Becca Cooke of Red's Mercantile will share the purpose behind sourcing from all made in America vendors and the 15% promise of Red Letter Goods - that birthed the Red Letter Grant. The workshop will leave you with valuable ways in which you can incorporate social values + purpose into your business model. *workshops are non-refundable, but transferable. if you end up not being able to make it, find a pal to go in your place.
