Best Local Meteorologist

1st Place: Mark Holley
2nd Place: Doug Michaels
3rd Place: LeAnn Lombardo

Your number one choice for local weather divination is Mark Holley over at WEAU-13 News. Holley’s WEAU bio says he’s “from Beaver, which is a small town near Crivitz.” Glad we cleared that up. According to legend, he began forecasting as a wee grade schooler in Pottstown, Penn. where would predict snow days for his teachers and classmates. And in 2004, he took 5th place in the “World’s Largest Pig Wrestling Competition.” This, coupled with a likable personality and mad meteorological skillz, make Holley a storm front for which you better watch out. Filling out the category, you voted in weather ninjas Doug Michaels (2nd) and LeAnn Lombardo (3rd). Michaels leads WQOW’s News-18 Forecast Team where his passion for weather is downright infectious. Meanwhile, Lombardo can be found dishing out weekly reports on WQOW’s Sunday night 10pm broadcast. – Mike Paulus
