There’s one thing that all of us could do more often, it’s volunteering in our community. Luckily, the Chippewa Valley has all sorts of great opportunities! Bob’s House for Dogs (E3015 County Highway HH, Eleva) strives to match stray, senior, or special-needs dogs with their forever families and is always looking for volunteers. Feed My People Food Bank (2610 Alpine Road, Eau Claire) receives roughly 25,000 volunteer hours annually and even offers family and child-friendly open volunteer nights. And because everybody loves pets, why not check out the Eau Claire County Humane Association (3900 Old Town Hall Road, Eau Claire)?
