The Pablo Center at the Confluence (128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire) is a contemporary piece of art set downtown with amazing acoustics, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a full calendar of events. At the other end of the architectural spectrum is the Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts (205 Main St. E, Menomonie). This beautiful 19th-century building is filled with artisan details and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Leinenkugel’s Brewery (124 E. Elm St., Chippewa Falls) celebrates six generations of family brewing skills. Taking the tour will expose the historic details, along with contemporary updates. – Diana Peterson
