The Chippewa Valley has new and exciting changes happening all the time, so it makes sense that people feel a bit burnt out when it comes to these things. Bon Iver may be getting Grammy nominations, filling arenas, and rocking for Bernie Sanders, but many of our poll voters are over it. The Pablo Center at the Confluence (128 Graham Ave., Eau Claire) has hosted some pretty rad shows – like that 2018 True North performance or the 2019 Fleetwood Mac tribute band – but it’s certainly not the only place worth checking out. And the Eau Claire City Council seems to keep busy, but do they need to litter our social media feeds so frequently? Can’t they just cut some ribbons and call it a day? – Samantha Kobs
