Best Barbecue

1st Place: Famous Dave’s
2nd Place: Dickey’s Barbecue Pit
3rd Place: Texas Roadhouse

Sweet and tangy, there are plenty of great spots in the Valley to get your barbecue on. Coming in first place with a menu full of ribs, brisket, smoked meats, and a variety of tasty sides is Famous Dave’s (2911 Mall Drive, Eau Claire). With huge helpings and an assortment of sauces to try, customers are assured to leave full and satisfied with a little bit of barbecue sauce still on their chin. Second place goes to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit (311 E. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire), a cafeteria-style restaurant where the food is served up hot and fast with complimentary ice cream so customers can top off their meal with a root beer float. Third place goes to Texas Roadhouse (5019 Keystone Crossing, Eau Claire), which may be best-loved for its steaks, but also has lots of options for barbecue fans to choose from (and of course those cinnamon-buttered rolls to fill up on while waiting for the main dish to arrive). –Jordan Duroe
