Kind of Eatery/Bar We Most Need

1st Place: Restaurant by the river
2nd Place: IHOP
3rd Place: Indian

There’s plenty to love about the Chippewa Valley’s eatery scene, but let’s face it: There’s always room for bigger, better, more. So, what do we need to fill that hole in our stomachs? As it has been for four years running, the Valley’s most sought-after option is a restaurant by the river! For all of the beautiful stretches of waterfront here, it seems like a crime for us to not possess an eatery along the mighty Chippewa. In second is a breakfast classic, IHOP. The pancake-fueled fervor surrounding this nationwide name speaks for itself in saying that a local franchise couldn’t hurt. The closure of Jewel of India last year left us with a curry-flavored culinary void shaped like an Indian eatery. Fortunately for those of us seeking a little subcontinental spice, Food of India recently opened at Oakwood Mall. –Zack Katz
