Your Favorite Local Author

New York Times bestselling author, humorist, singer/songwriter, and intermittent pig farmer Michael Perry has held onto first place as Favorite Local Author for the 11th year in a row. With a couple of new books in the past year, Perry continues to engage readers with his Midwestern charm. Fresh on the heels of another novel, The Hearts of Men, Valley native Nickolas Butler takes second. B.J. Hollars, the author of several books and essay collections as well as founder of the Chippewa Valley Writers Guild, makes his way into third place. And by the way, all of these magnificent authors’ books can be found in The Local Store. – Measha Vieth
