Best Restaurant for Outdoor Dining

We Wisconsinites know the warm summer months are in short supply. However, when the frigid winter wind begins to die and the air warms to a cozy 50 degrees, restaurants open up their doors and decks to accommodate spring fever. This year our voters said the No. 1 spot for outdoor dining is Cowboy Jack’s (1432 Front Porch Place, Altoona), unseating eight-time winner The Livery (316 Wisconsin St., Eau Claire), which landed at third place with its cozy fire pit intact. In between at No. 2 is The Lakely at the Oxbow Hotel (516 Galloway St., Eau Claire), where you can relax in an urban setting by the fire, cocktail in hand. – Emily Kinzel
