Best Happy Hour Spot

1st Place: The Joynt

2nd Place: TGI FRiDAY’s

3rd Place: The Green Mill (tied)

3rd Place: The Fire House (tied)

For five years in a row, The Joynt has been your first choice for happy hour. Basically, everything everyone loves about Water’s Street’s chillest tavern gets a notch better from 5 to 7pm — the beer gets a tad cheaper, the place is full of interesting people (but not too full), it’s not too loud, and for most of the year, there’s still enough light filtering in to help you lazily peruse the many items of interest upon the walls. For the second year in a row, TGI Friday’s took second with their half-price appetizers and other happy hour discounts. Tied for third place is The Green Mill (with half price appetizers and taps) and newcomer Eau Claire Fire House — a downtown craft beer hotspot boasting 38 taps (at last count) and a terrific brick wall interior. — MP
