When it comes to atmosphere, you gotta admit John Mogensen knows how to make a memorable restaurant experience. The Livery is located in a converted horse stables on Wisconsin Street. A unique blend of country roots and urban chic, The Livery features a gorgeous upstairs dining space with antique wagon wheels and plush modern couches, a game room decorated like a real-life Big Buck Safari, and an outdoor patio with a fire pit lit nightly by flamethrower. Mona Lisa’s is known for its class and sophistication, with art-covered walls and lampshades made of wine bottles. The dishes are often works of art in themselves, with great care taken by the chefs to make your experience exceptional. At Stella Blues, diners enjoy a mix of local history in the antique décor and Cajun comfort in the scrumptious menu. Manny’s, the only non-Mogensen restaurant, delivers patrons to a warmer state of mind with their brightly colored walls and coastal-themed decor. — EOB
