Eat Scene

This bar and grill has been a downtown Eau Claire stalwart since 1939, and is known for its for cold drinks, great food, and a commitment to staying open 365 days a year (they literally haven’t been closed a day since 2003). There are 10 beer taps and an extensive menu served until 10pm (sometimes later if you’re lucky!), plus breakfast on weekends. The Wigwam has a small outdoor patio, a pool table, and dart leagues. During the warm weather, the Wigwam’s satellite just down the street, The Depot, offers kubb, bean bags, and Hammerschlagen during the warmer months.

A casual neighborhood bar and grill with a nice mix of regulars, the Wigwam serves up daily lunch and dinner specials like Friday fish fry and their famous creamed turkey over biscuits (get there early, because when it’s out, it’s out). The regular menu offers sandwiches and terrific burger. Lunch delivery is available to businesses, and breakfast is served on Saturday and Sunday.
