If there’s one thing the COVID-19 quarantine has made us think about here at Volume One, it’s all the delicious local foods we’ve been craving all these months. Gyros. Pizza. Ice cream. Burgers. Steak. Wings. Fresh-made coffee. Have we made you hungry yet? But, we’ve been also thinking hard about how to keep each other – and our community – safe during these unprecedented times. So we put on our thinking caps and – huzzah! – decided to combine our passion for food and love for our community into one great, big list – our Outdoor Eats section.

Many local restaurants offer take-out and curbside pick-up options, so if you’re not feeling quite ready to venture into restaurants yet, never fear! You can snag some good eats and enjoy the great outdoors in your own backyard or local park. A good rule of thumb is to call ahead to be aware of each place’s policies, and to bring a face mask in case it’s required before and after meals.
