Learn More About CSAs at Menomonie Co-Op Event

Lauren Fisher |

With each spring comes the opportunity to sign on for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share, and this Menomonie event is here to help you find just the right match. Hit up the Menomonie Market Food Co-op on Saturday, March 14, from 11am-2pm to meet local farmers, try samples, and learn more about what CSA shares are available. Area farms offer shares for families of all sizes with different delivery schedules and systems. Some provide mostly veggies and fruits, while other businesses pad their packages with fresh eggs, meat, and value-added goods such as honey, soaps, and jams. These weekly bundles can be a meal-prepper’s dream, and cut out the work of visiting a grocery store or market. One attendee will also win a $200 credit toward the share of their choice. More information is available at MMFC.coop or by calling (715) 231-8663.
