Holiday Can't Miss: Irvine Park Christmas Village

V1 Staff

A long-standing Chippewa Valley Christmas Tradition, the Christmas Village in Chippewa Falls’ Irvine Park is an impressive display of life-size Christmas scenes built out of over 60,000 dazzling lights. The scenes are reminiscent of the Victorian era and local historical replicas and are built and displayed by individuals, businesses, volunteer organizations, and the city government of Chippewa Falls.

Every year promises new displays, while keeping the best of what’s made this event an enduring holiday favorite. The Christmas Village also hosts Run for the Lights, an annual 5k run/walk through the wintery wonderland of lights on Nov. 30.

The Irvine Park Christmas Village is open until 9pm each day from Thanksgiving night until the first of January.
