Eau Claire Entrepreneurs Celebrate Startup Wisconsin Week

For the second year, Eau Claire we be part of the statewide Startup Wisconsin Week, a series of events with the mission of helping Badger State entrepreneurs get off the ground. Startup Wisconsin Week events will run Nov. 11-15 in nine cities, including Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton, and Green Bay. According to the initiative’s mission statement, “Startup Wisconsin is committed to advancing and developing Wisconsin’s tech and startup ecosystems through unique programming, collaborative partnerships, and networking.” Events in Eau Claire include a “Financial Planning for Your Health” seminar at CoLab and a “Swim With the Sharks” session for UW-Eau Claire students at Davies Center on Monday, Nov. 11; “Start a Business: Step One” at Chippewa Valley Technical College on Tuesday, Nov. 12; a 1 Million Cups entrepreneur gathering at CVTC and a Musky Tank mixer at The Brewing Projekt on Wednesday, Nov. 13; an afternoon of mini workshops and an evening “Design Thinking Workshop” at CoLab and a happy hour at The Brewing Projekt on Thursday, Nov. 14; and a small business bus tour starting at CVTC at 5:30pm Friday, Nov. 15.
