Tickets are on sale now for the inaugural Red Letter Grant Gala, a social fundraising event and celebration of women throughout the region. The Red Letter Grant program, founded three years ago, aims to uplift and fund woman entrepreneurs. The organization, now an official 501(c)3 nonprofit, has distributed more than $30,000 in start-up capital to area women, spurring several new businesses into life and guiding female entrepreneurs to success through workshops, classes, and socials. The Red Letter Grant Gala, which will take place Aug. 15 in the Clearwater Recital Room at the Pablo Center at the Confluence, will begin with a Spirit Hour at 5pm for guests to network and enjoy a specially crafted cocktail, followed at 6pm by the General Reception. During this time, grant awardees will tell their success stories, board members will share their experiences, and guests will enjoy local food while guest speakers detail the impact of the program on this region and beyond. A live auction will run throughout the event with prizes including pottery classes, floral arranging classes, stays at luxury Wisconsin hotels, and more.  Tickets for the Spirit Hour are $100, while the general reception costs $50.
