Volume One Special Coverage: Pulling Together While Staying Apart

'Around the Corner with John McGivern' to Feature Eau Claire

Lauren Fisher

Eau Claire will snag another slot on public television later this spring in the eighth season of Around the Corner with John McGivern. But for those who can’t wait to see our city’s history and personality on the television, the Pablo Center at the Confluence will host a free preview screening of the Eau Claire episode at 6:30pm Wednesday, April 3. On Around the Corner, McGivern, an Emmy Award-winner who has worked in television since 1979, has travelled to dozens of Wisconsin towns to learn about their culture, stories, and proclivities. Those interested in attending the Eau Claire episode’s screening should get a free ticket at pablocenter.org. If you’d prefer to watch at home, you can catch it on Wisconsin Public Television at 7pm Thursday, April 11.
