What’s sweeter than a love story told the night before Valentine’s Day?  The Sound and Stories series would suggest the answer is that same love story, told to the moans and trills of a flute.  The Chippewa Valley Writers Guild presents the second entry in the Sound and Stories series: Love Hurts, Thursday, Feb. 13, at 7pm at the Pablo Center. Local storytellers and writers Laura Bucholz, Garrett Denney, Jodie Arnold, Tom Giffey, and Jay Gilbertson will communicate the heartbreak and humor of love to the tunes of Peter Phippen, Victoria Schoemaker, and Tiit Raid.  Each author offers his or her own perspective, from the romantic to the familial, from life and extending into death.  The event will take place in the Clearwater Recital Hall.  Tickets are $5 each to provide payment to the artists involved.  For more information, visit cvwritersguild.org or pablocenter.org.
