Volume One Special Coverage: Pulling Together While Staying Apart

Twig No. 4 Now Available

Lauren Fisher

The fourth edition of Twig, Eau Claire’s local poetry magazine, is now available for purchase on Etsy (search for username “twigmagazine”). This edition of the publication features works by 18 Midwestern poets – submissions originated from Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, and Iowa.

Selections are tied by the authors’ shared Midwestern experience. This issue is more interpersonal than previously, Serena Wagner, founder and editor of Twig, told the Leader-Telegram in a July interview. Subjects include political commentary, literary landscapes, family memories, and more.

“Our mission is to collect voices that flow together and represent the personal and shared geography in which we grow in, so through that lens we want to select pieces which emulate that,” she told the newspaper. Eau Claire locals and nearby residents can pick up a copy of the magazine in person after ordering by following instructions on the Etsy page.
