We’ve all heard the classic holiday tunes on the radio or in stores this season. But nothing quite beats listing to your favorite classic carols done live by local performers. Who says holiday music is boring? The CVJO will make you tap your feet and hum along as we bring a ton of holiday spirit to our December concert.

2. 43rd Annual UWEC Music Holiday Concert Dec. 3, 2pm • Zorn Arena, UWEC, Garfield Avenue 121, Eau Claire • $5 floor; $3 bleacher • uwec.ticketforce.com

The concert features the Concert Choir and Women’s Concert Chorale; Symphonic Choir, Women’s Chorus and The Singing Statesmen; Wind Symphony; and University Symphony Orchestra. Floor and bleacher seating is available.

Relax with the CVSO and the Stillson Children’s Choir; enjoy some memorable Americana classics and holiday favorites to get in the spirit of the season.

4. 6th Annual Tuba Christmas Dec. 10, 4pm • St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 417 W Street, Menomonie • FREE ($10 for performers) • tubachristmas.com 

Hosted by the Ludington Guard Band. Anyone who plays the tuba, sousaphone, euphonium, or baritone is welcome to participate. Performers should bring festive attire and a music stand, and arrive at 1:30pm.

The Master Singers, a community chamber ensemble with members from throughout the Great Chippewa Valley, will present two performance of Lessons in Carols in the Chippewa Valley.
