Making choices to improve your own health often begins with a few simple questions: How can I eat better? Where can I go to exercise? The same is true for making the Chippewa Valley as a whole healthier.

Through the end of December, a coalition of public, private, and nonprofit health groups is conducting an online survey to identify the most pressing health needs facing people in Eau Claire and Chippewa counties.

The anonymous, 14-item assessment can be found at surveymonkey.com/r/CHNA18. Questions focus on a range of public health topics, including nutrition, physical activity, alcohol and substance abuse, obesity, mental health, and more.

The survey is being conducted by the Chippewa County/Eau Claire County Community Health Improvement Project, a coalition that includes the two counties’ health departments, Mayo Clinic Health System, HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s hospitals, Marshfield Clinic, the United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley, and other partners. Improving our community’s wellbeing is only a few clicks away!
