If you are the proprietor of a downtown Eau Claire business with a plan to do something new, have we got a deal for you: Downtown Eau Claire Inc. recently launched its new Downtown Enhancement Grant program, which will offer a $2,000 grant semiannually “to further enhance the downtown aesthetic and overall quality of goods, services, and the downtown experience.” The grant is open to any DECI-member business that is located downtown and has been in operation for two years or more. Each application must include an enhancement plan that incorporates at least one of DECI’s investment areas: creative business enhancement; providing community cultural enrichment; or advancing the mission, vision, and strategic goals of DECI.
