UWEC Student Will Curl at World Championships

Eau Claire’s strong tradition of world-class curling excellence has continued this winter. UW-Eau Claire sophomore and Eau Claire Curling Club member  will represent the United States later this month at the 2017 World Junior Championships in South Korea. The championship brings together elite curlers under the age of 21 from around the word. Jenna, a 19-year-old native of Walpole, Massachusetts, started curling at age 5 and plays on a team that earned a world championship berth. She is a board member of the Eau Claire Curling Club and mentors the club’s Junior Curling Program. The world championship will run Feb. 16-26, and will feature men’s and women’s teams from 10 nations.
