Escaping Reality” by Elly West

“Humans tend to hate themselves or the life they live. They try to escape from everything they hold onto. Or have ever known. Humans are really just trying to escape from themselves. They think that by escaping the reality they’re in, their problems will be solved. But what they don’t realize is that they’re going down the wrong path. Why go down a dead end when you can go down a road that gives you life? If a helping hand, which came from above, reached out for you, would you take it? If that hand assured you that you’ll be OK, would you believe it?” – The Artist

Volume One finds its cover art in a number of ways, from local art shows to random emails to knowing someone who knows someone who knows a great artist. The art always originates from a current or former Chippewa Valley resident. If you'd like to submit cover art, send us a letter.
