Entrepreneurs of all ages and experience levels are invited to the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce’s first-ever Entrepreneurs’ Conference on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The conference, sponsored by Chippewa Valley Technical College, will be 1-5pm at Florian Gardens Conference Center, 2340 Lorch Ave., Eau Claire. The half-day event will include a keynote address, breakout sessions, economic development resource booths, and a networking reception. Jon and Jennifer McBride, founders of VES Environmental Solutions, will offer the keynote; in just a few years, their business has grown from two employees in Chippewa Falls to 34 workers in the U.S., 35 in China, and two in Europe. The conference will also feature a “sneak peak” at 1 Million Cups, a nationwide program to connect entrepreneurs that will make its Eau Claire debut in 2017.
