Lukas Carlson is a student at UW-Eau Claire, where he is studying for his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with an emphasis in Illustration. He will graduate in spring 2017.

"This piece was inspired by my father. He has a work ethic to be admired and has always lent a hand to those in need. Being raised around a person like this, I began to see how many people will unknowingly abuse his charity. My father, being the man he is, doesn’t let this phase him and continues to give his time, effort, and body to those around him. He does this, not for a reward or praise, but because he truly believes it’s the right thing to do. As long as one gives, others will take." – The Artist
