Get down and give Josh Bafford 20 push-ups. On Saturday, Feb. 27, Dragonfly Dance and Wellness is holding a whole day of events to benefit one of their fitness instructors, Josh Bafford, who was left paralyzed from the waist down after a car accident last year. Despite the injury, Josh returned to work the morning following his five-week hospital rehabilitation. Determined not to let a severed spinal cord stop him, he went right back to work and continues to help people as an exercise therapist, nutritional expert, and personal trainer with the same energy and passion he had before the accident. The full day of events for Josh will feature a donation-driven Zumba party at the Studio, followed by a burpee challenge. At 4pm, the events continue with a rousing night of drinks, a silent auction, and entertainment at O’Leary’s Pub. Proceeds from the auction and drinks will go to benefit Josh Bafford and his family, including his 2-year-old son, James.
