Sleep Signals Debuting Sophomore Album, Tour(s)

Eric Christenson |

New tunes are on the way from Minneapolis-based rock outfit Sleep Signals (with members from the Eau Claire area) in the form of their sophomore LP Transitions. Known for their Midwestern brand of modern metal, their high-energy live shows, and their “how-do-they-do-that” relentless touring schedule, the dudes are ready to show their second work to the world. On the new record, the band has made it a point to give their songs catchier hooks and bigger moves to make the tunes feel more anthemic. They’re about to play them for a whole horde of people across the country, too. Last week, they started the first of three connecting tours which will eventually end in May. They’re joining some huge acts along the way like Screaming For Silence, Lydia Can’t Breathe, Fear Control, and Brother Grey. Locally, they’ve got a tour stop in Chippewa Falls on Feb. 27 at Every Buddy’s Bar, the day after the record comes out. Stop by the show to see how this band, and their local roots, have grown.
