Emily Kuhn |

From 5 to 7:30pm on Sept. 3, Chippewa Valley residents are invited to Menomonie’s Cottage Winery for the Corks & Canvas Fundraising Event. The event is the first of its kind for The Arc of Dunn County, a Menomonie advocacy organization dedicated to helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The event will feature a live auction of art by area residents, as well as hors d’oeuvres by Sailer’s Food Market & Meat Processing and the Eau Galle Cheese Factory, live music by Two Frets Up, canvas painting by Big Dot of Happiness, wine tasting, and a wine pull. Proceeds will benefit “Art at the Arc” – a monthly art class held for individuals with disabilities. Tickets are $10 and they include music, food, and the auction. Don’t miss this chance to explore a thriving community program and meet talented community artists.
