Volume One Special Coverage: Pulling Together While Staying Apart

Catching a Screening

James Johonnott

Catching Faith, an indie movie filmed in the Chippewa Valley last summer, is coming back to premiere in Chippewa Falls. The Christian-themed sports movie stars Lorena York, Garrett Westton, and Bill Engvall, and features extras from around the Valley. It tells the story of the Taylor family, thrown into chaos when their straight-A, football star son is caught drinking. With the football season and his future at stake, the Taylors must find spiritual strength to rely on their family and faith. Catching Faith will screen at Micon’s Downtown Budget Cinema in Eau Claire at 7pm and 9pm July 24-30. From July 24-26, the 7pm screenings will be followed by a Q&A with two of the producers, John K.D. Graham and Alexandra Boylan, as well as some of the stars!
